Book Reccomendation: Circus Galacticus

The book Circus Galacticus is one of my favorite books. It's about a girl named Trix, who's an orphan. Her school goes on a field trip to a circus, and she wanders off and gets lost backstage. The ringleader of the circus finds her backstage, and he knows that she's special-- she was Tinker Touched. Trix found out that the tent of the Circus Galacticus was actually a spaceship, and that the circus traveled all over the galaxy to preforms. Trix decides to join the circus, and that lands her in the middle of a galactical conspiracy to steal the special meteorite that her parents had given her.

Thanksgiving

Every Thanksgiving I go to my grandparent's house. It is soooooo much fun! I get to help make the desserts and set the giant dining table. My whole family comes, and we have a 5-7 course meal. My favorite dessert to make is the pecan pie, but they're all fun to make! We are going to bring my dogs on the trip there, and my aunt and uncle will be coming later. It's going to be awesome! We take a  picture for Christmas cards every year, too. This year we're all taking pictures in ugly Christmas sweaters. I found the perfect one for my dad: It's a vest that's too small, and it looks horrendous! Perfect!

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is a book by Judith Viorst. It is about a boy who was having a horrible day. He woke up with gum in his hair and his day went downhill from there. I remember reading that book when I was little with my mom. It was one of my favorite books! Apparently lots of people liked it, so Disney made a movie about it! It was funny... I liked it! It starred Steve Carrel (the dad), Jennifer Garner (the mom), and Ed Oxenbould (Alexander). My favorite character was the dad. He was really funny! The movie was about Alexander and his fairly. Alexander had a terrible day, but his family always had good days. Alexander wished on a birthday sundae that he made, that his family would know what it was like to have a horrible day. Guess what? The next day, they did! And it wasn't just a bad day, it was a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day! The clip below is my favorite part of the movie.

My Pets

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to write about my cool pets.  I have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 fish. I have a golden retriever named Hank who acts exactly like Dug from the Disney movie Up, a cute dachshund named Celia, and a striped one named Cooter. My cat's name is Calliope Jane ( Cali for short ) and she likes to be petted. My beta fish's name is... wait for it....
